Indophyllia: A Showpiece LPS for the Serious Reefer

If you're looking for a bold, centerpiece coral that instantly commands attention, the Indophyllia is it. Rare, high-value, and visually dominant—this is the large polyp stony coral your tank’s been waiting for.

Expect a dramatic color display: dense, fleshy polyps in base tones of deep red, molten orange, or neon green—often marbled or streaked with contrasting veins. Under blue LEDs, its fluorescence kicks into overdrive, making it glow with insane intensity that pops from across the room. Expect shifting tones throughout the day depending on spectrum and angle—this coral looks alive, even when it's not moving.

Unlike branching corals, Indophyllia grows as a solitary, dome-shaped polyp—eventually forming a large fleshy plate with subtle folds and texture. Its slow growth rate is balanced by maximum visual impact per square inch, making it ideal for carefully curated displays where quality beats quantity.

Care Requirements:
- Care Level: Moderate
- Lighting: Moderate to high (performs best under blue-heavy LEDs)
- Flow: Low to moderate; avoid direct blasts
- Placement: Bottom to mid-level, on substrate or stable rock
- Growth Form: Massive, dome-like single polyp

The Indophyllia isn't just another coral—it's a statement piece. Whether you're running a modern SPS-dominant system or a mixed reef, this coral brings unmistakable firepower to your scape. For reefers who want their tank to stand out, this is non-negotiable.
